Account Manager – Mining Industry

West River Conveyors is hiring an Account Manager to cover key mining areas in IL, IN, KY, and WV. We’re open to different types of candidates—whether you’re a seasoned sales rep with mining accounts or someone who’s worked in or around mines and wants to take a new path.

The main thing is: you know how to talk to people, solve problems, and help customers find the right solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Visit mine sites and build strong, working relationships with customers

• Work with customers to understand their operations and provide tailored conveyor solutions

• Manage current accounts and look for new opportunities in your territory

• Do belt audits and help troubleshoot equipment issues

• Keep notes and quotes updated in Salesforce (we’ll train you if needed)

• Share feedback with our internal team to stay aligned with what customers need

What We’re Looking For:

• Background in mining (surface or underground—coal, aggregate, etc.), or strong experience selling to that industry

• Comfortable talking with mine supervisors, maintenance teams, engineers, and owners

• Self-motivated and dependable—able to manage your time on the road

• Willing to travel regularly and stay overnight when needed

• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, CRM)
